I think it's the wrong camera for a hotshoe. It's meant to be compact, and the external flash would be bigger than the camera. What Pentax needs is an EVF camera like the Nikon 8700 which is not a DSLR but has all the fixin's. For many folks (maybe even some of us on the list) a high end EWVF camera is a better choice than a DSLR.

Even the small and compact Ricoh Caplio GX (300 USD) has a flash shoe and a f2.5 lens - not to mention 64-1600 ASA (dpreview says 64-800 ASA): http://www.letsgodigital.org/html/firstlook/ricoh/CaplioGX/index_en.html No enthusiast (certainly not me) would want a camera without a flash shoe or at least a PC connection: Jens Bladt mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] http://hjem.get2net.dk/bladt -----Oprindelig meddelelse----- Fra: frank theriault [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sendt: 16. august 2004 20:32 Til: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Emne: RE: two new digicams... --- Jens Bladt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > IMO a camera of the 750Z class should have a flash > shoe, and preferably a > 2.0 lens :-/. > Jens > > Jens Bladt > mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > http://hjem.get2net.dk/bladt A compact camera with a 5x zoom, and you want it to be f2.0?
