My *istD and AF360FGZ work perfectly in P-TTL mode with the 16-45 DA lens but I have some questions about performance with other lenses:
1) When I use an F80-200f4.7-5.6 or a Tamron 90mmSP AF macro in the 'A' postion the flash auto zooms to the telephoto end (as you'd expect) and on the flash LCD shows 58mm with the camera exp meter on and 85mm with it off. Shouldn't it be the other way round? 2) With the F80-200f4.7-5.6 or Tamron: when set to a manual aperture (ie off 'A') it remains in P-TTL mode and will not allow me to select TTL mode. No matter what aperture I set manually the photo is overexposed the same way. Why? 3) When I try to use a matrix metering modified M-lens (which should behave the same as an 'A' lens with manually selected aperture) - same problem - again the flash will not allow me to select TTL mode - only Auto or P-TTL mode. Why? I'm very confused and the flash manual only mentions the MZ-S camera and earlier models not the *istD. Someone please help!
