"F" was an early foray into autofocus.  Surprised you didn't see this on the K
mount page as I'm sure it's there.
I'm not sure on "K" but always assumed it is either just specifying the physical
mount rather than any information connectors.
There is also "FAJ" which is "FA" without an aperture ring.
