If the colour transform is utilized in a colour managed work-space to a using 
an adaptive transform you shouldn't generally perceive a difference on the 
monitor. I read up a bit and the "Generic RGB" CS appears to be a generic Mac 
monitor profile. "Save for Web." produces photo.net friendly images by 
stripping EXIF and other embedded information from the image files.
