And 10lbs per Imperial Gallon which is more likely what Frank was quoting, so
16,000 pounds, or 8 tons. IIRC the NCFS claimed 1800 gallons (US), but since the
tanks are just rectangular fiberglass tanks (one on either side of the cargo
hold) they probably can be set up differently depending on the usual mission of
the plane (shorter flights, bigger water tanks).
