Indeed not. Pancake or not, I can't see why they would release a limited at 40mm, when they have a perfectly good 43mm. And its slower than the 43/1.9. Yawn.
How about a good 'normal' prime for the *istD(s). The 31 limited is probably around ideal, but I'd rather a slightly cheaper version; though not at the sacrifice of speed... partial frame coverage is fine.... How about a DA 32/1.4 or something...
