WRONG WRONG WRONG. When they went to K, they HAD to change the mount to provide bayonet mounting and the new mount was better. THEY GAINED A NEW BETTER MOUNTING SYSTEM.
There is NO "new gain" with the istD mount, just loss of K/M AE.
