Aye, but you could say the same about the MZ-S when it was released. When it comes to brand loyalty, it's what's in the family that counts. This camera cost almost twice as much as the -S, which it effectively replaced in the Pentax line-up as the choice of the Pentax well-heeled/professional/very enthusiastic amateur.
