Hell, we are not even sure where we are in the ice age cycle which Bill pointed out. There is not much doubt that we are in a era of global warming, but there is no hard evidence of what is causing it. There are a lot of opposing opinions of which the most unlikely have huge popular and political support. I see you like it up there on the band wagon.

You do not need some fancy alarmist theory of global warming to account for the return to normal weather conditions.
