So, how do Canon and Nikon DSLR's work. Do they work with pre-progam-AE
lenses?

Thats the only LX finder I don't have.
Anyone have a nice FA-2 they want to part with?
I have an FA-1 for trade.....

I see a readout as something in the viewfinder that I can read.
What else would you call it?
Does it really make a difference if the information is projected from
an LCD or via direct projection from an optical path?
The net result is the same. The information is made available to the
photographer without removing his eye from the viewfinder.
