Something in the 20mm range should do. However it seems that lens defects are much more pronounced
in digital so a good, (optical), quality lens is a must.

I picked up an *istD a couple days ago and I'm now wondering what folks
use for a wide prime with this thing. I currently have a 28/2.8, 50/1.4
and 77/1.8, all pentax. I'm looking for something to use as I was using
the 28, so I guess I'm looking for something in the 14-20 range, AF a
plus but not necessary. Any suggestions? Should I make the choice as I
would for 35mm or are there special *istD considerations beyond the 1.5
multiplier? It'd be a real plus to be able to use the super-wide with
the 35mm bodies, so I'm leaning toward not getting the DA 14mm.

Thanks,
Amy

I can understand why mankind hasn't given up war. During a war you get to drive tanks through the sides of buildings and shoot foreigners - two things that are usually frowned on during peacetime.
