Here are a few more comments on photos from Octobers PUG that caught my eye. My
first set
where of the train shots, as Im partial to this mode of transportation. lol.
Again I enjoyed viewing ALL of them.
No Title
by Max McRae
Oh I forgot to mentioned, partial to horses to. Lol. Nice capture of the team and
plowman.
I have been
to these before and they always have a helper which are hard to shoot around. Nice
colours
on the
team and tack. Good job. Im finding it hard to get that E100vs film now.
Look Ma no Hands
by Ryan Lee
Good stop action with this one Ryan. Nice a clear and sharp.I like the position of the
jumper, all tucked
up. The black background gives it an eerie feel.
Couriers Parking Lot
by Frank Theriault
I like this one for two reasons. One, the lines of the window and sidewalk and Two, how
the front bike
fades into the rest. Good DOF her Frank. Framing and contrast are good.
Staten Island Ferry
by Ann Sandedele
Now that I realize the sign project, I understand a lot of these shots better now. Nice
contrast between
the window light and the interior. I like a lot of line work, and I enjoy how the
window
and floor lines
work together.
Bus 157
by Gainfranco Irlanda
Again for the one of the reasons in Anns picture, I like the lines in this shot. The
contrast, in light, from
one side to the other works well on my monitor.
I like grain to. Lol
Old Pump
by Thomas Moraitis
This one is very wall worthy AFAIC. I like how the simplicity of this shot works.
Seems to
blend into the
wall. Good contrast and framing.
Yea its got a hemi
by Paul Stenquist.
Daddy was a Chev man, but he went Dodge to for a while. Im not a fan of modern Mopar
products, to
big and bulky for me. I really like the late 60s and early 70 machines they churned
out.
Great body
line work on those old muscle cars. Nice addy type of shot Paul.
Well thats it for now. If time permits Ill do some more later. Its off to the
archives
to find something
Red for November.
