Good reasoning - but false. USA has higher wages and lower taxes, lower custom tariffs as well. The huge amount of things consumed because of great purchasing power tends also lower prices more. E.g. for me it would make sense money-wise to order equipment from US of A even if I have to pay 6 % customs and 22 % tax - but the hassle is not pleasant. All the best!
