Speaking of Pentax capabilities, optical Image Stabilization is mainstream nowadays. At least 5 companies offer it in one form or another, to list Canon, Nikon, Minolta and Panasonic. Add to these various video camera manufacturers and you get a broad spectrum of IS products. Pentax cannot blame R&D costs or patent infringements anymore.
