My wife brought home a digital camera from her work the other day.  A
Kodak DC-50.  It uses PCMCIA cards (still work), doesn't even manage 1
megapixel and has no preview screen.  The picture format was not
recognised by most of the picture viewers I have (Paintshop Pro worked
though).

It was bought in 1998/9 for an enormous amount of money.  It has been
sitting in a drawer for years and was used because the other digital
camera was out being used.  The picture quality was not bad given the
low pixel count.
