My wife brought home a digital camera from her work the other day. A Kodak DC-50. It uses PCMCIA cards (still work), doesn't even manage 1 megapixel and has no preview screen. The picture format was not recognised by most of the picture viewers I have (Paintshop Pro worked though). It was bought in 1998/9 for an enormous amount of money. It has been sitting in a drawer for years and was used because the other digital camera was out being used. The picture quality was not bad given the low pixel count.
