JCO, if the plate is 140mm x 30mm, and the left-hand (rewind button ) 
aperture's centre is 29mm from the left edge, and the tripod socket centre 
is 76mm from the left edge, it would fit an SV.  The slight offset from the 
centre line of the rewind button aperture is also the same.

In searching through my parts bins I thought
I found a spotmatic bottom plate but its
not. I do not know what it is, same width
and shape as a spotmatic but no hole for
battery and the rewind button opening is
in different place from the SL. so this
is probably from a pre-spotmatic model?
anybody know what Pentax camera this fits?
