It is fun!  Hey, I'm from Chicago  originally where I was a Cubs fan -
In the east I have been a MEts and Phillies fan in the past but the
main thing is to root against the Yankees :)

I've gotten fond of the Bosox recently...
and of course, I'd never just call them "the Sox"  - like Paul,
I grew up calling those south side guys the SOX.
