Is anybody using Tokina AT-X 80-200 2.8 with a teleconverter ? Which one ? How bad is the optical quality ? What would be the
best 2X TC to use, 2X-S ?
I've used it with the 2X-S and found it to be surprisingly good.
The lens is pretty sharp and has good contrast, and seems free of chromatic abberation.
I haven't used it with a converter on the digital, so I can't say how it will stand up, but by itself on the istD it is quite nice.
