You mean the 250-600/f5.6? That *was* made for 35mm! Cost is around $7500 or so new (street price). I've seen a couple on the second-hand market, most recently for something like $5000.
It weighs 5.5Kg/12lb at the start of the day (and that's without a camera or any kind of support). By the end of the day it weighs at least twice that much :-( David Zaninovic mused: > > You never needed the 240-600mm f5.6 ? :) > I wonder how much would that cost and weight if it were made for 35mm. > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "William Robb" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Thursday, October 28, 2004 1:48 PM > Subject: Re: Tokina AT-X 80-200 2.8 manual focus with 2X teleconverter > > > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > From: "David Zaninovic" > > Subject: Tokina AT-X 80-200 2.8 manual focus with 2X teleconverter > > > > > > > Hi, > > > > > > Is anybody using Tokina AT-X 80-200 2.8 with a teleconverter ? > > > Which one ?
