Oh, yes - I sorry - keyboard error. It's a 35-80mm. Along with it I got several 49mm filters, including three close-up lenses in a leather case, a polarizer, a star-filter and a soft filter. So, in a way I got the lens almost for free :-). Not to mention that the package included a MZ-50 body that doesn't work (something with the motor). If anybody wants the MZ-50 body for parts or repair - I'll give i to you - for free, that is for the cost of shipping the thing.

I see from the web page you meant the 35-80/4-5.6. I have an F 28-80/3.5-4.5 that has done very well considering it's $25.00 US price tag. I think some of the older F lenses are highly under-rated just because they're heavy and quite ugly. The 28-80 is quite homely but a very good lens all around. The 35-80 is quite a bit more pleasing to the eye. I also have an F 35-70/3.5-4.5, very cheap but has given me almost unbelievably good results on the D.
