I don't see corporations as being interested in investments, so much as they are interested in making profits.

The real issue will be whether you're satisified with an APS-sized sensor camera when you want a FF one. And in my mind, whether APS-matched lenses will get any more use after a FF body is purchased.

I'm going to avoid expensive DAs because I don't want to have a D'oh!
moment when I buy the full-frame digital in a few years. But with the
investment Pentax and others are making in APS-sized-sensor lenses I'm
thinking the small-sensor DSLR format is here to stay.
