I'm very afraid that the tolerances are close enough that, cutting a screen and installing it, and then attempting to use it for in-viewfinder golden section composition would prove to be futile (if I were to attempt it). Besides, if a screen is manufactured, one SHOULD be able to obtain it.

I'd try what I do when cutting laminate; stick tape on the surface first (clear tape, masking tape, duct tape, ...), then cut through everything.
