LX Winder Question

Hey gang,

   I'm debating between the WINDER LX and the MOTORDRIVE LX . . .

 . . . I don't think I want to spend the money for the motordrive, as I don't
think I'll use it above 2fps . . . but, I want to know, does the WINDER LX rewind
the film?  I've heard that it doesn't, but that was from a unreputable source.
