Thanks, Tim! I should have clarified; I was planning on doing exposures of about 20 - 30 minutes. I'm hoping to get some shots over a beach or something. My biggest concern now is getting the trails to swirl in a pretty pattern over the beach or whatever else is in the frame, but I guess I'll just look for the North Star and hope for the best.
I like your star trail shots! I can see what you mean about them looking a little fuzzy though. Thanks for the other star trail samples. The colors in them are very vivid!
