The A 35mm f/2 is a lovely lens... It seems to have build quality equal to or better than the A 50 f/1.4, another very nice example of an A lens, as opposed to the plasticky A 50/1.7 and A 28/2.8 lenses.

Yesterday, at a camera show, I got an A 50/1.4 that obviously had never been taken out to work. It has no internal dust of course, but its focusing ring is surprisingly feeling bad, too easy to turn and lumpy, as if it had too little or too dry grease. Anybody experienced this with an A lens? I've never seen such a thing with M lenses or older lenses.
