Jack,

My purpose was to discover how the two different media would
have handled the same shooting situation with the same lens. I
was interested mostly in the sharpness performance - not of the
lens itself, but of the combo lens + medium.
My next test would be with negative film (I don't want to spend
another time 20+ US$ on a print for a test, but I also want to
follow Shel's suggestion about a comparison of latitude, more
than of sharpness). I was looking for the Kodak Supra 200 (which
was my most used print film until not many months ago) to
perform the test with the same Iso setting, but I'm not able to
find it anymore in Naples. Should have a look in Rome as soon as
I can.
I still have a lot of Portra 160 at hand, it may be a good
substitute.
