I can identify with that. This summer I purchased a MZ-S rig from a fellow
list member instead of picking up the *istD. I wasn't totally comfortable
with a first-run product, and the crop factor is a big turn-off (I like my
wide angles to be wide angles).

A full-frame digital body from Pentax (affordable or not) seems distant, and
I'm happy with shooting film and getting Noritsu scans back from the lab. So
MZ-S is working out nicely - it's been a great upgrade from the ZX-M.

To top it off, my Zenitar FE arrived in the mail today. While it's not going
to be my standard lens, it'll be fun to play with. I wouldn't have that
opportunity had I switched to the *istD.

Don't get me wrong, though. I see myself picking up a digital body within
the next couple of years. There are some obvious benefits to working with
digital that I already appreciate with my Canon A70.
