Don't knock it until you've tried it. :-) It's amazing how much lighter they make the kit feel than with the stock strap. I first tried one on my camera bag and liked it so much I got one for each of the cameras I owned at the time. I've stayed with the Pentax strap for the ZX-5 and MZ-S, though, due to the pockets.
