Thanks very much Juan, but apart from a 5n strap on eBay I placed a small
bid on, Paul's offered me one too. And to think I really thought I wouldn't
be able to get one!

Also, when I had an ist D the thing I didn't like about the strap was the
lack of those little (mostly useless but I want them anyway) pockets which
my 5n's strap had. So I wasn't looking for that strap either! :-)

With my 5n (and grip), I do that with my strap too. Two wraps round my
wrist, and camera sticking to the tips of my fingers. With the 20D, I
haven't been wrapping it round my wrist because I got the E1 handstrap,
which makes the rather large and cumbersome (subjective I guess) camera a
lot easier to hold. One thing I dislike about the combination, is that I
find it awkward for my trigger finger to get the dial that controls
aperture. I must say the ist D was better designed in that aspect. But
overriding all this, I still prefer having an aperture ring on the lens..

I really shouldn't go off on tangents like that should I..

Cheers,
Ryan
