Vic, that fast 30 might be a good lens to USE on the ist D. Just sayin'. If I had one I'd want to use it on mine. (However, to anticipate the next comment, buying lenses for self is not in my current budget.) Meanwhile, welcome to the *istDerhood (or whatever it is -- the really big subgroup of the PDML!) Since you already have a PZ-1, the *istD should feel like getting to know the sibling of a good friend. ERNR
