Wow. You're absolutely right; thanks! I'm not sure why the Pentax tech
person told me 49mm... but I see where I may have gotten 49mm from on the
B&H website (the 300mm A version is listed as such). I'm not sure how I
missed the filter on the "included items" list, though.
Anyhow, thanks again. I guess I will look to get the filter afterall (too
late for todays order, though). I just have to figure out the whole
thickness issue (I think a "regular" one will still be too thick to fit
into the housing). I may be passing thru B&H in person in a couple of
weeks, so that may be an opportune time to try before I buy.
