I tried a shot with lens cap on at 1/15 and I could easily find 10 hot pixels.
There are more but only when I go play with the
levels in Photoshop. I am returning the camera to the store. BTW. I think
that every camera has hot pixels but they are somehow
mapped out, it would be cool to see how many pixels are mapped out on a new
camera.

Now the interesting thing is, jpg and raw files have these hot pixels but if I
open the raw in Photoshop RAW converter it somehow
magically removes them. The same raw file opened in irfan has the hot pixels.

I also tried 16-45 on my ZX-M, it is fun, even with the vigneting. :) I am
tempted to keep my film stuff just because of this, it
is extremely wide.

Autofocusing in dim light sucks even with AF assist using flash, I use Canon
S45 for wild parties anyway. Amazingly P&S has better
AF in dim light than this DSLR. But I think that is the only problem with D,
everything else is great. Except the dead pixels, but
I will solve that.
