You owe us a report once you've used it a bit, Juan. Someone, may, someday, update sites that have user comments with your perceptions.

Because of them, and because I like manual focus lenses better and haven't tried it, I just ordered an EX example of the 35-70 from KEH. Seems like it will be a nice walkaround lens for the istD.
