I like that lens, except it's so big.  Maybe what I need is a 24mm
prime to go on the MX or LX - that would be a nice combo for the
street, in certain situations.

But, I like the little Leica for most "street" applications just
because it's so compact and unnassuming.  And, unless I know the
people I'm shooting, it's hard to "get right in there" with a 24mm -
at least it is for me.  The 40mm is a nice focal length for walking
about, I think.  But, yes, the wide angle lens takes some very
interesting shots.
