Sorry I've been out in the cold too long and froze my brain.:-( Scratch MZ/ZX-5n, it doesn't have PC connection. (Doh!) I meant to say the latest A bodies such as Super Program, etc. Do you know if later PC equipped Pentax's have a different circuit for hotshoe and PC?
(The out in the cold too long is from just aquiring an 8yr old male Cocker Spaniel and trying to mix it with my 8yr old male Bassett. LOTS of long walks to avoid having the "marking contest" take place indoors!)
