It seems in the past there was a plethora of fast(er)
70/80-200/210 lenses available.
The Vivitar 2.8/4 or 3.5, the Pentax A 4.0, etc.
All of the new AF lenses seem to be slow, 4-5.6 or slower
and variable aperture or the other extreme, faster 2.8 constant
and very, very expensive.
Does anyone know if there are any reasonably priced AF
lenses in the f/3.5-4 constant aperture, medium tele class
made anymore?
The lenses I mentioned were quite pricey in their day but
nothing even close to the cost of an FA 80-200/2.8.
My SMCP F 70-210/4.5.6 is a fine lens but 5.6 is just too
slow to focus sometimes, and 2.8 is way too expensive.
Where'd all the "middle of the road" stuff go?
