Not that I'm ever likely to be able to afford it, of course, but
I've often daydreamed of a nice place with a view, on a ridge or
a peak ... but I'd want to get it a particular way: either a
_castle_ so that even though I'd be interrupting the _natural_
view, it'd at least be _scenic_; or a low-profile structure,
much of it underground, with windows and entryways incorporated
into the landscape, so that it wouldn't spoil the view much for
casual observers without telescopes (and wouldn't require as much
energy to heat and cool).

But then, every time I see a peak that looks like it'd be fun
to live on, I'm seeing it from the highway looking up at it,
and I can't help simultaneously thinking about how what I want
would change the scene I'm looking at.

And I'm thinking "remote estate", not "development of McMansions".

And I've wanted a castle since I was very small.
