I have both, I'm keeping them as I still use film cameras, if I didn't I 
wouldn't. The fisheye effect of a 16mm lens on the *ist D looks like an ultra-
wide with very bad barrel distortion however it can provide an AOV just a 
little wider than the 15mm when converted to a rectilinear projection. If 
you've money to spend or 35mm bodies to service go ahead. If you would like to 
see some example images to illustrate the above then let me know.
