I'd love to see what your are doing with this smart blur.

OK if I can find the time I'll see if I can do a quick web page. Don't hold your breath as I'm pretty busy working on a proper database-backed web gallery.

FWIW i still scan my MF negs with my Epson Perfection 3200 Photo (flatbed).

I use an Agfa Arcus 1200 which is a few years old (Agfa no longer make scanners). It's a slightly unusual flatbed scanner: you can remove the glass and insert a film holder in its place for scanning negs and slides (the lid contains another lamp). The holders cover pretty much any format from 35mm to 4x5" and it can be set up to scan 8x10" slides using the glass plate. I just use this scanner for medium format work and any flatbed scanning I need from time to time (I've duplicated some old family photos for a few people recently).

For 35mm I currently have an HP S20 which I purchased from a friend who'd upgraded to a Minolta 5400. I really like this scanner (except for the fact that the driver is Windows-only and only does sRGB) but it'll be surplus to requirements once my new Minolta Multi Pro arrives. I am not looking forward to processing 500Mb files, but I really wanted to make the most of my 6x7 gear.

It's quite good at this - not so good for 35mm negs. I must admit I haven't
used it a lot since I got the *ist D :-)

I'm still holding off on the DSLR :) I am sure that the time will come when I sell off the Z-1p and LX to fund one - but I'll keep using the K2 until either it, or I, am dead. Might have to stock up on film before it finally disappears.

Cheers,
