Hmmm. I wonder how long there will be parts for repairs? I suppose that the DS uses some of the same parts.
Aren't there consumer laws regarding this? I know in Canada, they have to supply repairs for a certain number of years after the product is discontinued (I believe 7).
Part are no good if you cannot find anyone to do the work. In ten years time the D will be a tiny speck on the history of phtotgraphy. OTOH, I suspect I will still be able to get my LX serviced..........
