No, you're making perfect sense. I know there are an awful lot of them on there. But I guess the non-PDML traffic on the my LJ page all know the guys in the band personally. They're just starting out, & I was there to take photos for the website. (which, incidentally, is <http://www.sandboxkings.com/ check 'em out.>....my stuff isn't up there yet though). The lead singer is an school friend of mine, and the two non-performance pictures are also school friends of mine. [begin self-criticism] The overkill was to give the band a choice of whatever they may have needed from the useable pictures I was able to get of the night.... Taking pictures of bands is tricky. I can't ever get them all lit and in the frame at once, so I have to take pictures of one member at a time. Don't know why--I just figure it's worth giving everybody equal time (or close to it). Drummers are notoriously hard for me. I'd have cut all the drummer pictures from this series, but I always try extra hard to get them into the picture. Getting a decent shot through all that drumkit is a pain. I probably should have put only two of the acoustic set up. *sigh* I'll admit it wasn't the best possible night out (photographically speaking, anyway). -Luigi
