Once again a post didn't seem to make it to the list ....
A few months ago some friends and I went into San Francisco to see the Carnaval Festival (http://www.carnavalsf.com/), a mostly Latin American but multi-cultural street party covering a large area of San Fancisco's Mission District. There was the requisite parade, lot's of music and dancing, food, and thousands of people. I like people watching, and love to photograph people as they watched the parade or hung out. Recently I scanned some pics from the day and here are a couple of snaps of a friendly gentleman who was standing near his house a block or so away from the main parade area.
