That wallet sized card is totally cool Bob.  I'm going to print it and have
it laminated.  Now if I only had this for the PZ-1p too.  I have both the
PZ-1 and the PZ-1p and love them.  I should probably be selling them while
they are still worth a couple of dollars, but it doesn't look like it's
gonna happen...fondle, fondle...lol.  The only con I have for this camera is
I need a cheat sheet for the custom functions since I use too many other
cameras as well.

About the PC connection.  The person I bought my PZ-1p from was a pro that
had switched to digital and provided a hotshoe adapter made by pentax for
this purpose.  He claimed they worked fine for him.  My next question though
would be in regard to voltage and polarity here.  Some pro lighting is
pretty high voltage for electronic cameras.  I'm not sure what the Pentax
units are really rated to handle on the hotshoe.  I know the previous owner
never actually used the camera I have for this, or so he claimed it was a
warranty replacement he received from Pentax that only had one roll of film
run through it to make sure it worked.
