exactly! and that's why it's different from heaters.
Interestingly, nowhere in my furnace warranty does it guarantee absolutely that nothing will go wrong with the unit.
It does specify what sorts of damages the company will be responsible for, and more importantly, what they are not responsible for in the event of a failure.
