And that is the point, isn't it. It is a small light basic 35mm SLR. It's only "feature" is the meter blinky lights and sometimes I wish it did not have them (yes, I have used MX's sans batteries to get away from them).

I personally find it is more of a hassle trying to override automation than the automation is a help. I mean, Good Lord, a camera has only 3 controls: f-stop, shutter speed, and focus. Why should you need a hundred plus page manual to tell you how to use it?
