Wow, $60 a pound, that must be good.
Well maybe. I used to think I knew about coffee, then I read a book on it (not an article, a book written for people in the coffee business). After reading it I came to the conclusion that their are so many variables involved that without knowing all of them you can only go by taste. The best JBM is considered the best coffee there is, but poor JBM is not very good it just costs a lot.
Personally I like Mocha Java if it is reasonably fresh and properly roasted. If I do not know what it is going to be like, I guess I would take sumatra as it usually seems more consistant than most coffee to me. However, like all serious coffee drinkers I will drink it if hot, brown colored, and bitter tasting.

Probably the best coffee I've ever had. I get it mail-order but at US$30 for 1/2 pound (225g), I don't get it very often.
