I'd say so; you'd probably use an MZ-S more than any of those,
especially if you often shoot in portrait mode (get the grip).

It's not quite that simple, unfortunately.

There are a couple of situations where it is beaten handily
by the PZ-1p, and even in some cases by some other models.
It's most glaring deficiency is in the speed of the film
advance, which translates directly into how long it takes
before the camera is ready to take another shot. For that
the PZ-1p is a *much* better camera (although either the
LX or the MX, fitted with a motor drive, do even better).
In fact even your Super-A + MotorA outperforms the MZ-S.

The PZ-1p also has a faster shutter, which gives you a
faster flash sync speed (1/250 vs. 1/180).

Five film bodies isn't excessive: I've got:

MX + Motor Drive (and another MX, with a winder)
 Super Program + winder
 PZ-1p
 MZ-S + grip

plus a SF-1 (not 1n) that was given to me, but which
I have never used (if anybody wants it, let me know ..)

Of those, though, the MZ-S is the film body I'm most likely
to pick up, even though I prefer the operational ergonomics
of the PZ-1p (which are also more like those of the *ist-D).
I'm a big fan of Hyper Program mode, but most of the time I
find I'd rather have the better autofocus the MZ-S provides.
