He said he was about 90% sure Pentax will be releasing a new (most likely D FA) 50mm f1.4 lens, since the current 50 1.4 was discontinued. There is nothing official yet, but he expects an announcement in the relatively near future.
So, for those of you who were talking about getting a new, fast 50, you might want to hold off a while if you can.

P.S.: I recently got a K 50mm 1.2, and have found it to be a lot of fun.
P.P.S.: the OptioWP seemed like a very nice camera, but it wasn't a working model, so I couldn't take any sample shots with it.
