Thanks for the thoughts and comments, Bruce.

I agree with the blown out areas.  I actually (believe it or not!)
toned them both down in PS.  Any more, and it looked too artificial to
my eyes.  They were much brighter on the print.  Also toned down a few
other highlights, such as his (what looks like) hospital bracelet, the
numbers on his left sleeve, a few other things.

Glad you found it intriguing, and thanks again for looking.
