I wonder if using the polarizer could have caused it to be underexposed too?
Where I was standing was underneath a tent thingy, that provided shade for 
some of the people eating. So I probably did not need it. Hmm.. I didnt think
of the background being so in focus. I think I will check into this other lens
but it will have to wait a few months. Which is ok. He doesnt do a whole lot
of demos during the summer time.

Ya know even though I have practiced this for over 2 years I still do not
know all the Korean terms for the different kicks.

No, I believe the ITA is a branch all to itself. They do have a school over
in 
England, but I dont think they have spread much further then that. 
I can understand such a long pause because of injury. My husband broke his
ankle 
at work last year and he had to lay out for about 4 months. He was very very
hard to live with at the time. LOL... When ever the kids and I would go to
class
he would sit in the lobby like a sad little puppy wanting to come out and
play. :-)
